# Audio Timeout Error

Hello, I’ve been using Convai in Unreal Engine 5.4 and have been running into an issue where the AI will generate an Audio time out error and cease functioning until the simulation is restarted. It outputs the following error in the output log:

ConvaiGRPCLog: Warning: OnStreamFinish: Status:Not Ok | Debug Log: | Error message:Get Response Failed 400 Audio Timeout Error: Long duration elapsed without audio. Audio should be sent close to real time. | Error Details: | Error Code:13 | Character ID:c5b4cebc-6ae9-11ef-8dfd-42010a7be011 | Session ID:41b77bf9574ea4eeeeaed80e7f2c2213

Its not an issue with the microphone input as logs show it picks up words correctly prior to the error occurring.

Does anybody know what would be causing this error?

We recently made some changes to alleviate some of these voice breaking issues, feel free to give the [following release](https://github.com/Conv-AI/Convai-UnrealEngine-SDK/releases/tag/3.4.1-beta) a try, and let us know if you need assistance replacing your current version of the plugin with this one.
