# I cant get convai to work all of a sudden

Im not sure why or what to look for but i get this warning:  
ConvaiFormValidationLog: Warning: Empty Character ID  
ConvaiChatbotComponentLog: Warning: UConvaiChatbotComponent Get Response Failed! | Character ID : | Session ID : -1  
i have check and api key is in place and the character is place in spots it is supposed to be

Hi \<@1128706588539097099\>, is the issue still happening? there could be some connection problem can you double check your connection and share the logs?

yes i will go thru and see but i am getting warnings now not outright errors lemme check maybe im forgetting something the api key is there and char id too ;

Finally found the issue one spot where char id was needed and missed in the BP\_Firtsperson under class settings i missed the char id i am sorry for the confusion i dont know why i missed that

now if i can just sort out packaginf the game ill be ok but i am still reading doc they are not clear from unreal nor is the tutorials
