At this point im just resigned to it as part of working with convai. I tried pre-rolling conversations before the chat starts but that just created whole other problems so i gave up. ---

It works fine for 1 conversation i guess but I have a special case where i need to setup multiple conversations and it creates other issues, ends up not initializing them correctly or something. So i just stop pre-rolling the conversations and let the first message take longer. Least bad result ---
