# Issue with ElevenLabs API Key Integration in Convai

Hi all,

I’m working on integrating the ElevenLabs API with Convai. When I enter the API key in Convai’s API integration section, I receive an error message saying, “The API key you entered is invalid.”

According to the documentation, I just need to copy the API key from ElevenLabs to Convai, and it should work. Could you please advise on how to resolve this error?

Please avoid sharing your API Key in videos for security reasons. I’ve removed your message for that reason.

Additionally, when you open the API Key input window, make sure to click the dropdown at the top and reselect “ElevenLabs.” If the issue persists, try completing the process in a different browser.
