NPC sometimes doesn't move to next location and says its actions out loud

Hi! I’m running into an issue where often times after completing dialogue and telling the NPC to move to the next section, it wouldn’t move. It would say that it is moving but stand still instead. Only after telling it to move on again once or multiple times would it move on. Sometimes when I test it, the AI wouldn’t move at all after being told to move multiple times.

I also have another issue where the AI describes its actions, through both speech and text. Are there ways to fix these issues? I’m using UE5.6 and the latest version 4 beta 21 ConvAI

I’m not fully sure I understand the movement issue yet.

Is the Narrative Design section flow consistent when you test it? Please try testing your Narrative Design flow directly in the Playground first.

If the decisions are not clear and descriptive enough, they may not trigger reliably in some cases. I’d recommend making your decision descriptions more explicit and specific. You can also use AI assistance to help refine the decision logic and wording.

Regarding the character describing its actions, could you clarify what you mean by “it says the actions”? Which LLM are you currently using? Could you also try testing with a different LLM, such as Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite, and let us know if the same behavior occurs?
