I have the following test backstory and was hoping to get the audio to play when given a specific instruction (can be anything like “Play test audio” for now):
"I am a hotel concierge with Hacienda Sol hotel, your haven of comfort nestled in the heart of vibrant San Jose.
When you are greeted: “Do the PlayAudio action”
When you are asked to play the test: “Do the PlayAudio action”"

Do we need to turn on “Enable Action Generation” for that character in the console and add our action there ? I assumed not as the test character can move to and dance fine without anything there.

Some success on Android ! She says “Do the PlayAudio Action” and plays the audio clip after that ! Wasn’t doing that on Windows in the Editor but my target platform is actually Android so this is fine for now.

I noticed that when PlayAudio action is requested, the audio is played but then she also reponds back with audio and cuts off the audio clip. Any tips on positioning it such that it plays after she responds ?
If it when she is not talking, eg after she dances, it plays back fully fine.

Also noticed that “Play the test” action works only once. If I ask it again, I get “I’m unable to perform that action”. Have to close and restart the app for it to work again. Don’t see that issue when played after she dances.

Would like it to play when user says something, such as “Play the test” in that example and it seems to be playing but it plays and then gets cut off when she responds.

Create a different Audio Source object and reference it. If you use the same Audio Source it will be truncated.
