Hello, I’m a creator from Japan currently working on developing digital humans using Convai.
I have a question about the language of the data registered in the Knowledge Bank.
At first, I trained the AI using only Japanese text, but it often failed to provide accurate responses.
So now, I’m inputting both the original Japanese text and its English translation.
However, translating everything into English is quite time-consuming.
Is there a recommended way to write training data in Japanese so that it can be better understood without needing English translations?
For best results, we recommend following our Knowledge Bank Best Practices, which you can find here: Knowledge Bank Best Practices
Currently, while the Knowledge Bank can technically accept content in languages other than English, English is the only officially supported language. Using Japanese may work in some cases, but accuracy and consistency can be affected. With AI you can translate your file into English if you wish.
Suggestions to Improve Accuracy:
Stick to English in your Knowledge Bank for optimal performance.
Lower the temperature setting under your character’s Core AI Settings. This can make the AI’s responses more focused and reduce variability.
