We would like to inform you that we recently acquired the Professional license for one month, as part of an institutional activity and to evaluate the possibility of renewing the plan in the future.
However, we have the following questions:
Is it possible to change the default user interface text — specifically “Hold [T] to talk or press [Enter] to type here” — to Spanish? We have checked the prefabs, scripts, and UI text components, but we have not been able to successfully modify it.
Since this is an institutional event, does our current plan allow us to modify or remove the Convai logo, or would we need a higher-tier plan to do so?
We have attached an image to illustrate our request.
We appreciate your support and look forward to your kind response.
You can modify the placeholder text by editing the InputField (TMP) → Text Area → Placeholder component inside the Transcript UI. From there, you can customize the placeholder text according to your needs.
Regarding the Convai logo: To modify or remove the branding, your Convai plan must be on an Annual Scale plan or higher. You can find more information about this under the Custom Branding section of our Pricing page.
Regarding the InputField (TMP), I checked the entire canvas hierarchy and only found this Placeholder element, which depends on the Player Name. However, from there, it is not possible to modify the text: “Hold [T] to talk or press [Enter] to type here” to Spanish.
I look forward to any suggestions. Thank you very much.
I found the prefab and was able to change the Placeholder text to Spanish. However, when I run the program, it reverts back to English.
I look forward to your response. Thank you very much.
