Issue with text input

When I try to approach an NPC to start a conversation, I find that I’m unable to input any text. After pressing Enter, I am unable to activate the conversation for text input. It’s strange because neither of the two Enter keys on my keyboard works, but voice communication through the microphone is functioning normally. I’m using Unity version 2022.3.41, and I’m testing the scenario from Convai. I’m a beginner, could you please tell me what are the common solutions for this kind of problem? Thanks so much!

  • First press the ‘ESC’ Key.
  • Move your cursor to the Input Field.
  • Left Click on the Input Field.
  • You should now be able to type.
