Issues with eyes when importing CC4 model

Original Discord Post by flameburns | 2024-10-06 17:34:32

Hi there when I’m importing my CC4 model into a Unity AR/VR Project they eyes are not appearing and there are issues with the eyebrows and hair as well. I was wondering if anyone could help with this issue as it dose not happen with on another project that is for a desktop build.

The shaders are not correct.

And textures

Make sure to use CC Importer.

I did use the CC importer for both, imports but got that output for the prefab in both the VR and AR packages but not in the desktop one.

What do you mean for VR and AR packages?

I start a brand new unity project import convai then choose vr or ar i add in my CC4 character then use the CC importer and the charter comes out like the first image but if i do it on a desktop build it come out like the second image.

I’ve never seen this problem before, but texture settings change for different platforms.

Please check the materials by clicking on the eyes and eyebrows.

also another odd thing is if i remove the CC_Base_EyeOcclusion the eyes texture appears behind it.

Yes, because the eye occlusion must be transparent.

Also click on the eye brows and make them transparent.

I’ve made the eyes and eyebrows transparent but it leaves this sort of white overlay on the character.

I have no idea what material does this.

But I am sure you are doing something in CC importer. I have used it many times in Android Projects and I have never seen such problems.
