Hello,

Welcome to the Convai Developer Forum!

Which version of the Convai Unreal Engine Plugin are you using?

Version 4.0.0-beta. 24

Are you testing it on the new playground or the old one?

I’m using the new playground, the interface with the left sidebar (Description, Avatar, Knowledge Bank, Core AI Settings, State Of Mind, Guardrails, Narrative Design)

Please make sure you are using the same Character ID in both the Playground and the plugin.

The plugin or web should not change the character’s response behavior. If the same Character ID is being used, the character should respond based on the same configuration.

Character ID in both the Playground and the Unreal Engine is same. But the problem has not solved.

We checked the setup, and it looks like speak tags are being called in Unreal Engine.

This can prevent the Knowledge Bank from being used as expected. Please remove the speak tags from that flow, or disable Narrative Design if you do not need it for this character.

After making that change, please test again.
