Speech to text fails often

We’re experiencing frequent issues with the speech to text failing while people are talking - triggering an OnFailed event in the UE plugin. At first we were probably at times going over the concurrency limit of 30, so we were thinking that’s why. But also after scaling down to make sure we’re significantly lower than those limits, the issues sometimes happen, and causing significant problems for our players.

There are lots of sessions affected, so I think it’s a general increase in STT errors overall. I believe session 1409b53a97085f2d13f1aaa377e094c9 had the issue, if you need specific session IDs.

Any news on this? In general, the STT failures seem to happen when there are incomplete STT results, but then it’s cut and there’s no result coming in at all.

We’ve made a very makeshift workaround for this, by sending the incomplete transcript results as text to the character on failure, but that’s obviously not good enough - those are always missing a lot of what’s being said.

The errors have continued to happen throughout the last weeks, even though we have fewer active players right now.

Could you please try this in a new project using our V4 Unreal plugin and see if the issue still occurs there?
