T-pose character problem

Original Discord Post by jcmf84 | 2024-11-06 21:47:01

Hello, I have a custom character with a body rig, facial rig and mouth movement. When I press play, the character follows the T pose, and stays that way when he speaks, he even moves his mouth with the convai lipsync components, but he doesn’t move his body, he always stays in the T pose. I’ve already followed tutorials and documentation but it doesn’t work. what could be the problem?

Make sure you set the correct Avatar.

I created the model in blender and Rigged in Accurig, then I made the mouth sking weight to open it in Maya, and imported it to Unity

I understand, but the T Pose occurs when Animation and Avatar are incompatible.

This is a basic thing about Unity animation.

<@1045065071652503602> Did you check?

The thing is that I have 2 models with the same process, same model and rig. but in one the movement works, there is no problem but it does not have the movement of the mouth. In this case the mouth works well but the body does not work.

Did you check blendshapes? (First character)

I’m adjusting the movement of that character’s mouth to see if it works
