Adding custom environments in Convai Sim (e.g. museum, airport)

Hi Convai team,

First of all, congratulations on the amazing beta launch — it’s incredibly exciting to see what’s possible with browser-based AI simulations!

I had a question regarding Convai Sim:

:green_circle: Is it possible to upload and integrate our own 3D scenes, or are we limited to using only the provided templates?

We’re working on educational and training use-cases such as:

  • virtual museum guides
  • airport assistant simulations
  • location-based training and virtual tours

How can we bring our own scenes or environments into Convai Sim to support these scenarios?

Would love any guidance, documentation, or early access tools you could share.

Thank you so much for the kind words and your enthusiasm about Convai Sim. We’re thrilled to see the creative ways our community is exploring the platform!

At this time, Convai Sim does not support the ability to upload custom environments. Currently, you can upload and use your own custom characters, but scene customization is limited to the provided environments. The good news is that support for custom environment uploads is on our roadmap and will be added in a future update.

We appreciate your patience and are excited to see what you’ll build once this capability becomes available!
