We’re excited to announce the beta launch of Convai’s no-code simulation platform — a powerful suite of tools to create, animate, and deploy AI-powered virtual humans and 3D simulations right in the browser.
Built on Unreal Engine and Pixel Stream, Convai delivers high-fidelity, real-time experiences with no game engine expertise or GPU required. Simulations run on any browser-enabled device, and with WebXR support, they’re fully immersive on XR headsets.
Previewed at AWE 2025 , these tools are now available to everyone in beta.

Avatar Studio
A cloud-rendered tool to bring your AI character’s mind into a fully embodied avatar — right in the browser. Choose from hundreds of avatars or upload your own, and customize everything from appearance, lighting, backgrounds, and animations to webcam vision input, interface settings, and branding. Once ready, you can embed the experience directly into your app or site
Convai Sim
A drag-and-drop tool to deploy your AI characters into pixel-streamed, physics-based 3D environments — all in the browser. Characters can perceive, converse, and act—either on voice command or autonomously. Choose from 50+ standard scenes or upload your scenes or digital twins to create immersive simulations, from interactive training modules to virtual tours. Convai Sim experiences are fully embeddable and WebXR compatible, making them accessible across XR headsets and LMS platforms.
XR Animation Capture App
Now available on the Meta Quest Store, this tool lets you record custom hand and body animations in VR and teach them directly to your AI characters — no mocap setup required. Whether using full passthrough with real-world objects or interacting inside Convai Sim with smart virtual props, your movements are captured and processed with AI smoothing to eliminate jitter and ensure realism. Convai also applies inverse kinematics to adapt the animation to different object shapes, enabling seamless reuse across characters and contexts.
