I have the same problem. Has anyone solved it? I tried with custom pronunciations (to replace with a space) but it didn’t work. Maybe it is because it can’t replace a character but just full words, and the * is attached to other words, so i can’t make a rule? any suggestion would be much appreciated

This is not directly related to Unreal. However, if it happens often it might be useful to add an instruction to the AI in the backstory to not use asterisks, also ensure you do not have any asterisks in the knowledge bank or backstory

i think it is not related to the backstory or unreal. It is probably because openAI returns ** before and after titles.
You might have experienced, when you copy form chatGPT and paste just unformatted text it returns the asterisks, so I presume this is where the mistake comes from
