Hello is it possible to create my own widget for the type box. I want to be able to lock onto convai NPCs then press a button to get up the widget and then go to the ‘talk’ option.

Yes, this is definitely possible. You can review the existing widget examples provided in the Convai Plugin and customize them to suit your project needs. All such UI customizations are up to you to implement.
As a small note, removing the Convai logo requires being on the Annual Scale plan or higher.

So then would it be possible for me to use another plugin and have the text i type into the convai text box to be read out loud by an elven labs link, then once that voice has played the convai NPC replies?
I’m not sure I fully understand your question. If you’re asking whether you can use a different plugin to take the text typed into the Convai chat box and have it spoken aloud using ElevenLabs, yes, you can. However, this would require custom edits on your side.
