How can i delete the Chat-Memory of my character. It was perfect if it deleted the memory automatically with every time i start a new Chat.

Maybe i didn’t get the functions oft the Memory right. Is the Character learning from old Memory files? I am building a Convai Character for Unreal engine via Pixelstreaming. – Will the Character remember facts from a Chat with User, if another User opens a new instance of the Project?

Hi <@1023671043287699568> I’m not affiliated with “Die-Pro” but deleting chat memory would be a great feature. From my end i’ve have accidently “pissed” off my character through chat prompts and have had trouble calming it down again. It was trained on some supportive material for a brand but quite literally said something along the lines of the brand being trash because it was pissed off, and this is not long before I had to show it to a representative of the same brand. Also when showing ai’s to people they tend to say some silly stuff, which the ai will remember and bring up at later dates which can be good but also annoying at times. If I show my ai to sally and then the same ai to justin I want to have an experience starting from the baseline for BOTH those people and not remembering details from each conversation and bringing them up. Like sally will say her name is sally and then the ai may say hi sally when justin is talking to it. I hope this helps, and I hope to see a delete memory feature soon because having to remake characters constantly for each new client/person is not fun UX design

Chat memory is your “session id”. Just change the session id to -1 and it resets the chat “memory” every conversation.

Hi <@1262352474765791376>, the character chat history gets reset every time you load it, you can even force reset the memory at runtime using the function Rest Conversation History

You can connect it anywhere, as long as you can access the ConvaiChatbot component
