ElevenLabs voices no longer available for Norwegian

We’ve used ElevenLabs voices in Convai for a while (for English and Norwegian), and it’s been working well.

We’re aware of the ~12hr normal cache delay between adding a voice and it showing up in Convai. However, it had taken more than 5 days without new voices showing up now. We therefore tried to remove the key and add again. After this, no ElevenLabs Private voices show up for Norwegian at all, but they’re available for other languages. Could the ElevenLabs voices be set up so they’re correctly working with Norwegian (nb-NO) again?

From what I can tell, this seems to be a config issue on your end, as it seems that all voices have an array with supported languages. If you would be able to add nb-NO to ElevenLabs voices (private ones) the issue should be fixed. As of now, our characters aren’t really working.

It’s not a specific character, as the issue happens for all characters across the board - and we can’t set the voices we want to for new ones.

But one of our characters is 9565ee7c-1466-11f0-8692-42010a7be01a - which we’ve given a different voice for now

Hi @heivoll sorry for the inconvenience caused.
We have currently circumvented the issue and working towards a permanent fix. Can you pls check the voices once after sometime - it should be available with the Norwegian language.

@K3 @Deepankar_Acharyya Thank you for looking into it! Yes, it seems to work correctly now :slight_smile:
Is there anything in particular I need to think about since it’s a circumvention/workaround, or will it work as normal on our end? Would it be safe to remove and add the ElevenLabs key again to “refresh” the voices if we need to later?
