When I press and hold the ‘T’ key, the microphone does not work for a few minutes. Additionally, the debug messages ‘Character is listening’ and ‘Microphone is working’ are not printed in the console. However, when I release the ‘T’ key, only the ‘Character stopped listening’ message appears.
After a few minutes of running the scene, the microphone starts recording, and the expected debug messages (‘Character is listening’ and ‘Microphone is working’) are printed.
Could you please let us know which version of the Convai SDK you are using? Are you running the default demo scene, or have you made any modifications to the scene setup? This information will help us better understand and troubleshoot the issue you’re experiencing.
Hi,
I am using “NPC AI Engine - Dialog, Actions, Voice, and Lipsync - Convai - 3.2.4” from the Unity Asset Store and playing the “Convai Demo - VR” scene in the Unity Editor. The mic does not record voice input when I press and hold “T” at the beginning. However, after 3 to 5 attempts, it starts receiving voice input.
Could you please clear your console logs, then reproduce the problem and share the new console output with us? If possible, a screen recording showing the console logs during the issue would be very helpful for diagnosing the problem.
