Long Term Memory no longer working

Hi

I’ve noticed today the Long Term Memory feature no longer works on the avatar I tested it with, compared to how it worked only a few days ago.

To test this I began a conversation by telling the avatar some basic facts about my pet dog Lola (her name, her age, her breed). I then continued to talk for around another 5 minutes and around 7 or 8 replies, I then asked the avatar “What do you know about Lola?”, they replied “Nothing” basically. I have repeated this test with other facts and the result is the same.

If I asked this question a few days ago, the avatar knew facts that I had told them previously. There are no errors appearing in the console.

Long Term Memory is toggled on in the Playground. I have the Long Term Memory component in Unity and it is enabled. I have a valid Speaker ID. I have less than the allocated amount of Speaker ID’s I am permitted on my Convai plan.

The character ID is cfdabcbc-ea46-11ef-b0f3-42010a7be016 I’m not sure if the same is happening with other characters in my app, I haven’t tested them yet.

Long term memory is a much sought after feature by users of my app, I hope this can be fixed.

Hello @Tyke,

I have created a ticket and my teammates will investigate the issue. We will inform you as soon as possible.

Thank you for your response @K3

I’ve noticed today my other issue about the extra unecessary apostrophes in character replies is fixed, and the latency and reliability of character replies is much improved recently, especially today, so I’ve decided I’m definitely going to upgrade my Convai plan from Scale to Business once the LTM issue I’m having is fixed, I’ll upgrade within 24 hours of the fix.
