Microphone setting option not available to assign different key for push to talk

Hello,

I am unable to see Microphone setting. I have professional subscription.

It would be great if I can assign different key for push to talk.

Also, about the processing frequency, does the setting means the Avatar wont respond for 1 min if it is set up for 1 min? What does unlimited processing frequency means? I am using for reserarch study so need to be mindful of the response times.

Sometimes the avatar seems to be rushing initially or is abrupt in first sentence. I wonder if it has to do with some settings I need to attend.

Lastly, is there any option to not save the conversation into memory? I am using the Avatar for one time conversation with the study participant.

Kindly advise.

Best wishes,

Poonam

Hello @P1,

Which Plugin/SDK are you using?

Helli @K3 ,

I am using the characters for my PhD study and using them in your environment directly.

Video in your link in prior post shows the microphone settings with altering the keys fir push to talk. I dont see it in the UI in your environment for the character/avatar config set up.

Best wishes,

Poonam

You can find details in our documentation:

Hello @K3 ,

Thank you for sharing the link. I have watched it before. Sharing the screenshot which shows absence of the key change feature in experience setting for me. Is this expected for the professional subscription? Also, the initial conversation (words spoken) are abrupt by the Avatar. Is there any setting I need to attend to ensure smooth communication?

Please advise.

Best wishes,

Poonam

That part of the settings is currently being improved along with the Hands-Free Conversation feature. As for the second issue, I didn’t fully understand what you mean by the avatar’s initial conversation being abrupt. Could you clarify or share a short video so we can better see the problem?
