No response from avatar for two days

hello. I have an issue with my character, she’s not answering back for two days. I thought is from my settings in unreal, did reset on all settings, get an older backup and right now I tried also on playground and is not working.

There are issues? Before that, like a week ago, I had delays for 10-15 seconds in answering…

Also, she only speak in Romanian even if I have 4 languages in place there.

Somebody can give me a hint ?

Seems that also switching from Romanian to English or Spain works like a charm now. Was some issues you solved these days? :slight_smile:

We are continuously making improvements, but since I couldn’t pinpoint the exact cause of your issue, I can’t say for sure what changed.

Hello Florin, can you please confirm following:

a. Does it always fail to produce the answer or is it happening intermittently.

b. From the logs I see that previously (possibly on the unreal) it was happening because there was no input audio captured which mean likely your mic had some issue.

c. Are you still facing the issue.

Thanks for reply. The log had my voice input, look at picture. However, I solve the issue, apparently. It was from narrative design. I made another character that worked and step by step I tried to see where is the issue.

In narrative design I had a simple section where Alice would ask me what language to use. At some point that section didn’t work and I forgot about it. Seems that because of that she didn’t worked at all. I disabled narrative and works now. Still don’t know why worked from time to time…

Now it seems to be working fine. The issue appeared when I had four different languages set, starting in Romanian, but then trying to switch to English. It would tell me that it could only speak Romanian and ask how it could help. :slight_smile:

Now I see that it changes based on my selection, which is great. I’ll keep an eye on it moving forward to see what happens.
