Narrative design taking 8-20 secondsa to respond, even on convai website

When testing the narrative design on the ConvAI website, I am getting a delay of 10 seconds, sometimes longer and a text pops up ”Response taking long to load, Please hold on tight” for a sinple input like “Hi”. This has been happening for 4 days. I thought it was some server issue that will be fixed but hasn’t so far.

when testing inside Unity I get response times as long as 25 seconds sometimes.

This is a time sensitive issue, kindly respond as the project has been deplyed and the client is annoyed.

Will I get faster response here or on Discord?

4 seconds on Website but 8 seconds in Unity

Could you try it with GCP or Azure Voices?

Those voices are not available to me as i am using English, French and Arabic languages

Just try English, let’s see what happens.

the delay reduced to just 3 sec after using a GCP voice in both the website and Unity when using Narractive design.
But when I add french, all GCP voices disappear but Azure is still available but with Arabic only eleven labs and OpenAI are available. we need the same voice to do all languages. any way to reduce delay there?

I just added all 3 languages but used ElevenLabs voice and it also gave a much better responsetime than OpenAI. 4-5 sec.

is OpenAI the worst for for latency?
