Not triggering talking animation

Hi Everyone. I’m working on a project and added Idle and talking animation. Both animations are working properly but when I’m adding these animation in their respective nodes in convai reallusion, only the idle animatio function is working. I even try to put my talking animation and connect it to idle to see if its working and yes its working. So I think the problem or the issue is in the talking animation. Can anyone help me with this?

I also tried adding walking animation and its working properly. So I think the only issue is the talking animation

Hi <@520549119396282368>, make sure to set looping on all your animations, it might have been set to false and therefore the talking animation would play only once and then stop

I also tried working on a sample project, using metahuman. I already setup animation mode to Convai_Metahuman_BodyAnim and Convai_Metahuman_FaceAnim. but only the lipsync and idle is working. Talking animation is not working also

I see, thank you for elaborating this point, there has been an updated fix for this bug on the latest plugin version, it is not pushed to the marketplace yet, but you can get it directly from our github releases

I already installed the new version. It seems the new version fixed the issue of talking animation for the metahuman. But on my custom character, it still not working. I am using Convai reallusion for my custom character.

I think the animation blueprint that I used is somewhat came from you from you guys using gdrive link? I get it on a youtube tutorials in convai channel

I see, Reallusion is indeed a different animation blueprint from MetaHuman, the only thing that would cause the talking animation not to work is either the animation itself is broken, so just double check by opening it, the other reason would be that looping is not set to true, the last reason is that yhe transition animation is not set

I already test the animation and plug it in the idle animation to see if its working. For the looping part, I already enabled it. so I think that is also not the reason. and last for the transition, I already set it with Idle animation as its transition.

Any updates on this issue? for the Convai Reallusion for custom character? I think its the same issue that occurs on metahuman. I think you can fix it just the same as what you did to fix the issue on metahuman?

Hi <@520549119396282368>, unfortunately we are not able to replicate the same issue on our end, the last resort is if you can give us a small project where the issue is manifests and we can try to see why it is not working
