Passthrough with Quest?

Ah the tip is to literally press the “X” on the “XR controller” text (and nowhere else) for the next screen to be shown. Thanks for the tip <@1023671043287699568> !

<@711465199001010298> thanks for posting this as I’m trying to do the exact same thing. I’m not really a developer tho, just doing some R&D. When you “configured as per normal XR project” what do you mean by that? Is there a demo project you used?

This may be a basic question but…why do I keep falling through my “floor”? The Convai character stays put but I drop into nothingness

Is there any error?

I didn’t see any. I’ve added a box collider which solves the problem for now. Next trick is to get mic input working to talk to my Convai character.

Hi, I have my Conv.ai avatar working in MR, but I also seem to have issues to get voice input. The app has rights to the mic, but sound doesn’t seem to get through. Any ideas what to set in Unity or wherever?

Make sure your device has an internet connection.
Make sure your microphone is not muted.
Also, test your microphone devices in the microphone test section in the settings panel.

Hmm, I checked this, but still nothing. So there are no further tricks?

How is teh right audio input determined? I think I have only one audio listener enabled in OVRCameraRig/CenterEyeAnchor, but is Conv.ai automatically connected with that or might I have an issue somewhere there?

Reply by k3kalinix | 2024-02-29 16:01:30

I don’t understand.

Audio Listener is like an ear. It’s enough to have one on scene.

Ok, so conv.ai automatically determines that this is the correct input device? I’m only trying to find the reason why the avatar doesn’t seem to hear me although I think the setting for the “A” key on the right Quest controller should be correct.
