I’m following up on a known issue reported over 5 months ago regarding the incompatibility of the Pixel Streaming plugin with Unreal Engine 5.5, as discussed here:
The official response at the time mentioned that Pixel Streaming was not supported in UE 5.5 and recommended switching to UE 5.4. Since this issue has been open for quite some time, I wanted to ask:
- Has there been any update or fix for supporting Pixel Streaming in UE 5.5 or newer versions?
- Is there a roadmap or ETA for when compatibility will be added?
Additionally, I’ve tested the plugin on both Windows and Linux, and in both cases the build fails as soon as the Pixel Streaming plugin is enabled.
We are currently planning production based on this feature and would greatly appreciate any news on its status.
