Problem with "Moves To" in VR (UE5)

I followed this video: Creating Talking AI Characters in VR and Android | Convai Unreal Engine Tutorial to create a navigation mesh bounds volume and set the object for metahuman correctly. My character can follow me properly and also find other characters. However, when I ask them to find the object, they just stand still. Although they respond by saying “Okay, I’m going now,” they don’t move at all. Here is my log:

If I ask him to move to another character or follow me, action "Follow” will be triggered. When I ask him to move to the object, action “Moves To” is triggered but move to nothing. Is there someting wrong with the “Moves To”?

I also tried resetting everything from beginning in a new VR template, and followed exactly every setting as the tutorial. Yet it still didn’t work. The characters can go to each other and follow me, but can’t find any object.

There are already several existing threads discussing this topic, so I recommend reviewing those first as they may contain solutions relevant to your issue.

Additionally, please ensure that the target object is actually reachable by the character. If the navigation mesh system cannot detect a valid path to the object, the “Move To” action will not be executed, and the character won’t move.

Thx, I’ve read the documentation and search in the forum for too many times. I think I’ve tried everything I could. Should I set something to the object? The characters and I can stand on the navMesh but the object cannot. Is that the key to this problem? Cause even if I place the object and the target character together(all on the ground), the character I speek to still can’t move to the object. However, he can find other characters just fine.

I think it is about “Moves To”. Somehow, “Move To” isn’t being triggered correctly.
