I have a project and was curious to know if we can Add a URL to our backstory and if convai can read the data from that website and keep it in its backend?
I am aware that there is a different area to drop files to store data but im more curious to know this its possible with a simple URL.
Hoping to hear from anyone regarding this!

Hi Dylan, I’m not on the team but I think I can answer your question - I’m not aware of this being a feature.
As @Tyke mentioned, it’s not possible to read or retrieve data directly from URLs placed in the backstory.
However, if you want your character to access dynamic data from external sources, you can use our External API Integration feature. This allows your character to fetch and respond to data from your APIs in real time.
Currently, this feature is available in the Enterprise tier, but we’re working to make it available in the Scale and Business tiers in the upcoming months.
