Receiving Variables Or Flags From Convai Character

Hi all. So I have been developing with Unreal Engine and Convai for a while now and absolutely love it! I am trying to find a way for my Convai character to return a variable or some data to me in Unreal Engine without saying it out loud. For example, if I ask the character something or make statement, I want it to answer the question, but send a flag of sorts classifying what type of question or statement it was (for example a rude statement, an inquisitive question, etc.). Essentially assigning a category to the statement or question that I can use in Unreal Engine for data capturing or other purposes. As far as I understand Convai does not currently provide such functionality, but I am curious to whether:
1.) we can expect something like this in the future, or
2.) there is a workaround I am not aware of that I can use.

I hope I am making sense. Thanks in advance for any replies!

Hello @Weich14,

Welcome to the Convai Developer Forum!

Thanks for sharing your feedback and your use case.

Currently, Convai does not support the ability to return silent flags or classifications like that directly to Unreal Engine. However, I’ve noted this as a feature request.

We truly appreciate ideas like this that help us improve the platform. If you have any more context or examples you’d like to share, feel free to drop them here!
