Character audio / text response contains extra apostrophe's in their responses

Hi :slight_smile:

This character cfdabcbc-ea46-11ef-b0f3-42010a7be016 has just started to have a lot of extra apostrophes in their responses, so whereas before they might say “It’s a nice day”, now they are saying “It’‘’‘’''s a nice day”, etc, this happens with anything plural too. None of the other 8 I characters I use in my app do this, I’ve changed nothing my end. In the Playground this character doesn’t do this in brief testing.

It seems to make the character mispronounce these words when they are spoken. So if they are saying “I’d” it is actually “I’‘’‘’'d” and the the audio is like they are saying “I” then a few moments later they are saying “d”.

I’ve just noticed in the Memory log it is appearing like that too :

I’ve noticed this too. Hope it is a quick fix.

Hello @Tyke, @Nick_Clarke,

Could you please share the Session ID?

Hi @K3 , Session ID 48ca0b4f820f04f0cff4d2f510ca8a08

@Nick_Clarke @Tyke ,

Could you please test on delta?

@K3
How do I do that exactly? Do you mean test the Playground chat on the delta version of the Convai website? Or test in my app using the delta version of the Convai website? If it’s the latter, how do I do that?

Yes, the delta playground.

Seems fine on the delta playground, it was fine on the Playground (no extra apostrophes) on the Playground on the normal, non-delta, Convai website, the extra apostrophes appear when the character is used in my Meta Quest 3 app. Not sure if that is relevant or not but thought I’d best mention it.

So when you test on the playground you don’t see extra apostrophes, but in Quest 3 you do, right?

Yes, but it is not caused by the Quest, because the chatlog in the Memory section of the Playground contains the extra apostrophes too. I’m not sure if you seen the edit of my original post where I show a screen shot of the Memory chatlog which shows the extra apostrophes.

Hello @Tyke, @Nick_Clarke

Could you please test again?
