Trying to create new characters on the website. They just fail to create and leave me with a non-functioning character that cannot be deleted. Very frustrating. Do I have too many characters?

Um, there are console logs on the website? This has nothing to do with my app.
Press F12 → Console, take a screenshot of the logs, and share it here so we can investigate further.
Please try logging out of your account and then logging back in. If the problem persists, clear your browser cache by following these steps:
F12 → Application → Storage → Clear Site Data
After that, refresh the page and try again.

Well that didn’t work as such but the console messages led me to check my network security and the issue seems to be that your site is suddenly considered suspect. Not like I haven’t been using it forever without issue. Anyway, I whitelisted convai.com and things seem to be working. I still have the blank and broken characters I cannot remove but at least I can create new ones.

Welp, I thought that worked. I was able to create 3 new characters without issues. Sadly it happened again even though convai.com was whitelisted. I turned off my local ad blocker and security settings and everything now works fine again. Guess I’ll just do that from now on.
I haven’t heard of this issue before, and no one else has reported it so far. However, I’ll inform our team so they can look into it further.

Which browser are you using and what is its version? We couldn’t reproduce it on our side. Also, you are the only one who has reported this issue, so it seems to be something local.
Chrome. Both on PC and iPad. Now I cannot create even one character. I’ll check my settings.
Could you try it with mobile data?
I cleared the browser cache on my iPad and that seemed to work. I also bypassed my internal network and went straight out Starlink. I think it was the cache clearing that worked. I will see if the PC works. Yeah, I think it might have been the browser data cache. Thanks for looking into it.
I still have a bunch of blank characters now that will not show me their detail page so I can’t delete them. I wonder if it might be possible to add an option to delete characters from the main page that shows all my characters. The current 3 dot option list doesn’t include ‘Delete’.
This can’t create new characters happened to me recently too, I got around it by creating a clone of an existing character then changing the details of the clone. I will try some of the fixes in this thread.
Sure would be nice if there was a ‘Delete Character’ option in the three dots at this level since I can’t load the blanked out characters!
