This character 12c5d804-bddd-11ef-905b-42010a7be016 is failing much more today, I’d say about one in 4 to 5 responses are not coming through. Nothing has changed on my side, I’m not getting any error messages in the Convai Logger or in the Unity console. I’ve noticed the emotion is being sent but no speech.
I had an issue with this character the other day where she stopped responding, I was told the LLM in use was somehow being pointed to a deprecated one. She’s a pretty popular character but not really usable right now with this failure rate. I have looked to see if OpenAI are having issues with her having an OpenAI voice but there are no reported issues afaik.
I just tried in my app (with the same Session ID), the 1st response was ok, the second response there was no speech but an emotion came through (the emotion didn’t seem relevant to the conversation). All other characters are working ok btw.
I also tried in the Playground, there was no response, it displayed the “response is taking too long” message.
I’ve just noticed this character 3cb10fe6-81ad-11f0-90ba-42010a7be01f also has this issue, the other character I checked seems ok, I haven’t checked the other 6.
That’s much improved, for 12c5d804-bddd-11ef-905b-42010a7be016 I had 2 five minute chats, about 10 responses in each, 1 failed response with an emotion in each chat. The replies came quicker too, very nice and responsive.
For 3cb10fe6-81ad-11f0-90ba-42010a7be01f I had one brief chat, no failed responses and snappier too. The character didn’t refer to what it has in the backstory though but that’s probably something I need to adjust I guess. EDIT : just tested this character again and she is referring to her backstory so all good.
