Convai animation not works on far human proportion
What happened?
I am making a character and the character proportion is so different from human proportion like short legs and long arms and Convai is have their own animation, if i applied the animation its back to the human proportion again
do you guys have solutions for it?
What did you expect?
making metahuman and convai character proportion free, like it works in any proportion
I checked the relevant documentation, resources, and similar forum posts before posting.

I confirm that I did not include API keys, tokens, passwords, secrets, private character data, private conversation logs, or customer data.
my character proportion is far from normal proportion is there is a way to solve this
I tried to resave all option but it doesnt work I think this is a different problem
actually Ive sculpted the character on zbrush and the metahuman topology and the one that i sculpted is same, so i just export it in zbrush and import it in maya to copy and paster the vertex order to able to work in unreal engine. i imported it in unreal engine and Import the body and face inside metahuman builder and i just click the rig in the end
and i just used convai_metahuman body animation and I think its not compatible because of proportion
i dont have problem in the face area my problem is on the body so from original short character and I applied the convai animation and it stretch longer
Yes, this can be supported, but the main issue is likely the body proportions and animation retargeting.
Our current Animation Blueprint is built around the MetaHuman animation system. While the body animation logic can be adapted to other characters, the character skeleton needs to be properly retargeted or use a compatible rig. If the character has very different proportions, such as short legs and long arms, applying the default Convai/MetaHuman body animation directly may cause stretching or force the character back toward standard human proportions.
In your case, you may need to create or adjust a custom retargeting setup for the character’s body so the animations preserve the original proportions correctly.
