Short summary

The Convai AI character is unable to detect my voice input.

What happened?

The chat bubble appears and text input works fine, but voice/microphone detection does not respond at all.

I checked the relevant documentation, resources, and similar forum posts before posting.

I’m sorry you’re experiencing this issue.

Are you using Windows ? Also, please make sure microphone permissions are enabled for Unreal Engine and your application.

You can press F10 to open the settings panel and test your microphone there.

Please also test the same character on convai.com in your browser and make sure microphone permissions are granted there as well.

In most cases, issues like this are related to microphone permissions, browser/system input settings, or the selected microphone device.
