Emotions in the Response

Is there a way to prevent the text in parentheses expressing emotions from being displayed in CONVAI’s chat window?

Dear K3, There is also one more critical error show in chat window. When I ask question to the convai character and character answer the question then my question text dialogue show again after character’s answer. For exameple, 1.User: Can you introduce yourself? 2. Character: Answer, then text show again "User: Can you introduce yourself?” at the end of line in chat window. Could you check this problem please? thank you.

firstly, convai character answer text show then question show again. secondly, emotion show text and speech. Finally, convai speaking everything include parentheses.

Hi, K3, I think this issue relates to emotion expression, could you please see this dialogue window in Convai website? not only show in Unreal engine but it also show in Convai character dialogue window. Thank you.

I have the same error. Currently using convai in an installation at a trade fair. For a few hours now the avatar reads out loud the emotion that is attached to the response.

Looks like this: „blablaba. neutral“ or „blablabla. surprise“. Sometimes: “blablabla. I don’t know that.”

It‘s also visible in the response in the chatbox.

Is there any fix?:folded_hands:

It keeps happening to me too, the responses are very long and the NPC is explaining about his emotions aloud for some reason and at the end mentions the state that he is in. as an example: Neutral . Are you guys working on a fix?
