How to get audio amplitude in realtime while character speaking?

Heya, I’m wondering if anyone knows how to get the audio amplitude in realtime from a convai character whuile they are speaking?

Iv’e tried the usual way for sound waves of using ‘Get Cooked Amplitude Envelope Data’ but it doesn’t seem to work

Any help appreciated. Thanks!
