Hi Convai Team,
I’m having trouble finding the Asset Uploader tool in Unreal Engine on macOS (Apple Silicon). I’ve tried both UE 5.5 and 5.7 with the latest SDK (v4.0.0-beta.10).
The situation:
-
The plugin is enabled and the ‘Convai’ folder is visible in the Content Browser (under Plugins/Engine content).
-
I can see several Editor Utility Widgets like
EUW_LTMorEUW_Button, but theEUW_AssetUploaderis missing from the files. -
The ‘Convai’ menu does not appear in the top Toolbar or the ‘Window’ menu.
-
I’ve already checked ‘Show Plugin Content’ and ‘Show Engine Content’ in the settings.
-
I’ve also tried to manually trigger the modules via the
.upluginfile and terminal commands (xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine) to ensure macOS isn’t blocking the editor modules.
My question: Is there a specific tutorial or a workaround for Mac users to upload custom avatars to the Convai Avatar Studio? Is the Asset Uploader currently supported on macOS, or should I perform the upload process through a different method (like the web dashboard)?
Any help or documentation regarding the Mac workflow would be greatly appreciated.
