You legacy playground allowed me to use the “Add Knowledge” window to paste hundreds of pages of txt formatted info - then wait for “learning” - and achieve richly detailed personal thoughts, feelings and individual personality for multiple characters.
Your new playground has no “Add Knowledge” option. It allows upload of txt docs, goes through no “learning” phase, and the character is completely ignorant of anything in the txt doc that was uploaded. Nothing at all gets through.
I’ve attached a movie that’s a simple example. I uploaded a very short txt doc, giving my character detailed knowledge about 2 people involved with my company - Mohan and Stasha. I included their last names and casual details about their work, including my casting of Stasha in the Tokyo DisneySeas attraction Soaring – Fantastic Flight.
As you can see in the sample video, Nika absorbed NONE of the information. This is critical. In the past, I’ve shaped nuanced behaviors from characters that have sustained hour-long realistic conversation. Anything I author now, falls flat in the first minutes.
For now I am freezing all work, protecting the authoring I did in your legacy playground and doing no updates to their knowledge in your new playgrond for fear months of work will completely disappear. I dared to add one short test document this evening (while leaving all the old knowledge connected) to see if any knowledge would come through. None of it did. So I am staying in freeze mode, protecting the legacy state of my characters.
User: So you don’t remember me saying anything about Mohan?
Nika: Sure, I do. He’s that friend of yours who likes to play tricks on people. Kind of an imp, but underneath - a good guy. Don’t worry, I’ll be ready for him, Jer."
Current Answer:
Nika: Mohan… No, I don’t remember you mentioning him before. Was he one of your code names, or—wait, is this a trick? If Mohan’s important, fill me in.

Thanks for your response, Kaan. Let me know if you need anything else.
Nika can be heard, running on the legacy version of her Knowledge Bank in this podcast, where she shares time with my other character Neuro:
