Missing “Assets” and “Embodiment” tabs — cannot upload 3D models professional account

i, I need help enabling the Embodied Characters / 3D Upload feature on my account.

Issue:
My Convai dashboard does not show the Assets or Embodiment tabs for any character. Because of this, I cannot upload FBX models, scenes, or animations. I also have the Convai Uploader tool, but it cannot upload anything because my account does not have 3D upload enabled.

What I expected:
To see the Assets tab and the Upload Asset button on the character dashboard.

What actually happens:
Only the Character Editor tabs appear (State of Mind, Embodied Actions, Narrative Design, etc.). The 3D upload section is missing entirely.

**What I’ve tried:**Logging out and back in

  • Creating new characters

  • Checking multiple browsers

  • Using the Convai Uploader tool

  • Contacting support (they redirected me to the forum)

Could you please enable Embodied Characters / 3D Upload for my account?
I have a Proffesional subscription.

Hello,

Welcome to the Convai Developer Forum!

There is no special “Assets” or “Embodiment” tab that needs to be enabled on your account. Once you upload your character via the Asset Uploader, you will be able to access and use it directly from Avatar Studio / Convai Sim. You don’t need any additional dashboard tabs for 3D upload to work.

The Embodiment section you see in the dashboard is still under development and is not connected to the Asset Uploader, so its current state will not affect your ability to upload or use 3D avatars.

Hi, I’m on the Professional plan, but the Asset Uploader still isn’t working for my account. I understand that the dashboard’s Assets/Embodiment tabs aren’t required, but it looks like my 3D upload permissions / backend flags were never activated.

Could you please enable the 3D Upload / Embodied Characters permissions on my account so the uploader can connect properly?

There is no manual activation system. Could you share the error message? Where did you get stuck?
