Published links do not reflect dashboard testing

Hello! I wanted to inquire if there is a narrative design trigger automatically applied when sharing published links with what I believe to be the Convai Sim(Pixel stream?).

If so, as feedback, I believe there should be a way to disable it. Its been frustrating not having consistent, sharable environments to publish through links. I had assumed the chat window would reflect the exact same experience when it did not.

Hello @ND_ODL,

You must disable the Welcome Message option.

I disabled both the welcome message and vision welcome message and the agents still greet me at the beginning?

Make sure to save the changes.

Changes were saved using the green button on the right. I also noticed when I reload the pixel stream after I save changes it only saves the disable welcome message when I disabled both message types.

Behavior wise, despite disabling I am still getting welcome messages. Additionally, is the pixel stream dashboard the only way to change these settings? I’m getting a black screen almost everytime I go to Avatar Studio currently and have had to reload 8-10 times to access.

Could you please share the experience link?

Hey @ND_ODL,

Could you please republish the experience by changing the visibility?

As in publishing as public? I’d prefer not to but I’ll leave this link open for a bit

I mean, to trigger the publish button, you need to change some things in the visibility section. Like title, description or visibility.

Right now you can go back to unlisted visibility.

If you test the link, the welcome message is not triggered. So basically when you change any setting in the Avatar studio, you have to republish the experience.

And by the way, I’ve informed my teammates to make this flow better.

gotcha - thanks for the reply and explaining the back end. I assumed hitting save changes in Avatar Studio would save it.
