Getting this error on iOS where the avatar does not reply on home WiFi or office WIFI. It does work on mobile hotspot internet connection though. the error I found is below:-

This issue is likely caused by a network security restriction from your internet provider preventing the connection to Convai’s servers. The fact that it works over a mobile hotspot confirms this. We recommend checking your internet security settings or contacting your provider. You can also try connecting through a VPN as an alternative.

I tried using a VPN connection, but still no luck. Any alternate solutions?

We have experienced the issue on the majority of the networks we’ve tried in different locations, so this is not an issue restricted to just one network.

Hi, this is a high priority use case for a client, could you please let us know any solutions for things to change in the Wifi settings?

Which country are you connecting from?
Please try a VPN that supports SSTP and set the protocol to SSTP in the client. For example, you can test with hide.me.

We tested the same application on an android tablet and didn’t face the issue at all. It only shows this error on iOS devices!
