Hi Convai Team,
I’m working on a permanent interactive installation for a historical museum and plan to use Convai to power the avatar’s real-time conversation and behavior. Below are a few questions to help us define the best setup:
1. Best Plan for Public, Permanent Use
Which Convai plan do you recommend for a public-facing, 24/7 museum installation?
We’re planning to subscribe to a perpetual annual plan, as the exhibit is meant to remain indefinitely.
2. Hardware Requirements
What is the minimum recommended hardware (CPU, GPU, RAM, etc.) to run:
- An Unreal Engine build with Convai integration
- Stable, uninterrupted real-time performance
3. Platform Limitations
Are there any limits on usage, such as:
- Number of daily interactions
- Number of intents or topics
- Session duration or concurrency?
4. Voice Training
Is it possible to train the avatar’s voice to match a real person’s timbre, tone, and speaking style (e.g., the rabbi we are replicating)?
5. Animation Customization
Can we create and trigger custom animations (hand gestures, emotional expressions, movements) for the avatar using Convai and Unreal?
6. Interaction Quality
We aim for a natural, non-robotic conversation flow. Does Convai support:
- Smooth transitions between animations and speech
- More human-like dialogue behavior
- Realistic emotional expression?
This project is of great cultural and educational value, and we’re excited about using Convai’s technology to deliver a meaningful, engaging experience.
Thank you in advance for your guidance!
Best regards,
Pablo
