I checked the relevant documentation, resources, and similar forum posts before posting.

This happened about 12 hours ago or more so I changed their LLM’s to Grok 4.3 which worked ok, so this was this morning so I gave it another try (early evening now) in case it was a temporary issue but the issue remains unfortunately. One of my characters in particular really goes well with Gemma 4.

Hello Tyke,

This issue appears to be related to the provider.

From what we can see, they are already working on resolving it, and it should be fixed as soon as possible.

In the meantime, please use a different LLM (gemini 3.5 flash) as a temporary workaround.

Thanks Kaan :+1: I don’t know what it is about Gemma 4 but it makes one of my characters, a cyborg, really fun, I literally had almost nothing in their Core Description, just that they were a cyborg from the future, and they took on the whole bad-ass persona lol I honestly have no idea where the attitude comes from, but when I use a different LLM they lose it. Even when later I put a lot of detail in the Core Description to be this way, for some reason nothing interprets it like Gemma 4 does, not seen that before. Thank you anyway, I suspected it was an LLM issue, out of Convai’s hands.
