I’ve been using ConvAI on UE5.0 with VR and has been working perfectly for the past few months. However, a new bug has shown up, where I can use voice to talk with the avatar, but he is not responding.
When checking the memory log on the dashboard (ignore the incomplete phrase), it clearly heard me, and came back with a response. However, it just didn’t say anything in-game, thus suggesting that the problem is on the TTS feature? I didn’t make any changes that might impact the TTS. Any ideas of what may be the reason?
From what you describe, it is likely that a recent change in your project may have affected something in the integration, even if it was not directly related to TTS. We are not currently seeing any issues on our side.
I recommend creating a fresh UE5 project with the Convai plugin and testing the same setup there. If it works correctly in the new project, please review the customizations and recent changes in your original project to identify what might be interfering.
Sorry for the delay, I had some problems to sort out.
The problem might be related to the Action generation. I noticed that the “Enable Action Generation” is Off on the Playground - Embodied actions. However, when I try to turn it ON and update the function, whenever I refresh the page the action generation will be turned off, and the character will remain incapable of speaking in UE5.
