I have had this issue for some time now. I’m trying to figure out the perfect workflow to add custom animations to my character. I’ve tried multiple things but they all result in the character scale being affected in more or less bothersome ways. I’ve followed different tutorials which lead me to believe that the technique used is not the issue as it mostly always result in the same outcome.
Only thing I can think of is that there’re a dozen of skeleton mesh variations for MetaHumans, using one animation for a character doesn’t mean it will look ok on the other

For example, when using IClone to get animations for MetaHuman you have to specify exactly the skelton type otherwise it will look broken

I retargeted the animations, it seems to work well with current metahuman animation but not with convai animations which seems to slightly scale up the character.
I see, it would be better to replace the animations in the Animation blueprint with your own so that all the animation would have one united source and won’t feel different
