I made a new character. Did it 3 times. Same result.

If I set the guardrails on and choose Gemini 2.5 Flash and any voice other than Darlene at the end of the list the character works fine. Changing to Darlene gets no response. Changing to guardrails off and Llama uncensored and no response.
Love the Darlene voice so this is depressing.
I tested the character on my side, and it appears to be working as expected with the Darlene voice.
Could you please confirm whether you are testing this in the Legacy Playground?
I’m testing it in my app. The playground works fine - if a bit slow to connect. Yes, I use an ancient version of the SDK.
No, not the legacy playground.
Yes, these new voices are not compatible with the gRPC.
I’ve informed my teammates, and if possible, they will work on providing a solution.

Works fine now. Really good voices. Very slow to respond though. Still - thanks a lot.
edit:switched LLM to uncensored Llama and it;s much faster now.
