Issues getting AI to respond in the desired manner

I am working on a chatbot for practicing radio communications and I would like the AI to

  1. Respond in character and use the radio communications protocol which I have uploaded to the knowledge bank.
  2. Read the user messages and correct the user when they have not used the syntax correctly
  3. Continue the conversation based on the sample transcripts I have uploaded to the knowledge bank.

I am having mixed results, and it is difficult for me to make the AI respond according to the syntax rules I provided. I would like to get some suggestions on improving it.

Hey sorry for the late reply. Do you still need help with this. If yes, can you please share your character-id and give some sample example where character did not follow the syntax.
