When using ElevenLabs for a character with Norwegian set as a language, it doesn’t speak Norwegian but Danish. From my history in ElevenLabs I see the issue - the voice line is generated with the model v2 Multilingual, instead of v2.5 turbo, which supports Norwegian.
Using the exact same responses in ElevenLabs directly with the v2.5 turbo model, I get the correct Norwegian pronunciation.
@K3 Thank you for the quick response! It really goes for any character with Norwegian as language. But here is one: 557c3750-dfe4-11ef-a5dc-42010a7be016
Here’s a session with Norwegian: 9bec170a084c50ea086da95bb040a675
Another relevant point here; if this affects other languages as well, switching from v2 Multilingual to v2.5 Turbo should cut the ElevenLabs cost (credits usage) in half for all users, as well as decrease latency.
