Time limit for interactions

Hi,

I’m interested in purchasing a plan for the interactive avatars, but I have a question:

Is there a time limit for each interaction? Or a monthly time limit for interactions?

I’d like to integrate it into my website and send a link to a user so they can interact during a one-hour session. Would it be possible to define that duration?

If you mean is there a time limit for an interaction to take place, I don’t think so. You could open a session with a character and not say anything and it won’t automatically disconnect afaik. I think there might be a time limit on how long the user can speak for each time they speak. About the monthly time limit for interactions, afaik we have a month from the date we subscribed to the Convai plan to use up the interactions for that month.

I’ve purchased the Profesional subscription to run some tests.

However, I can’t add whitelisted domains, there is no button for such action:

No problem!

Unfortunately I don’t know the answer to that, it’s not a feature I have used before.

I’m not sure if it’s relevant but I see an “Upgrade to Pro” link in the top right of your image but you say you’ve already purchased Pro, not sure if that’s connected to your issue? Sorry I can’t be a of more help. K3 or another Convai team member will be able to answer you in due course.

There is a monthly interaction limit, but no time-based limit per interaction.

  • If you’re building a custom project with the Convai SDKs, you can implement your own session duration logic (e.g., cap a session at 60 minutes) on your side.

  • If you’re using Avatar Studio, defining a fixed session duration isn’t supported. Only the built-in AFK timeout applies.
